Note This bookmark

Hello! It's Monika here today with a fun and easy bookmark.
I used Creative Worship: Note This clear stamp set from the new Note This Bible Journal Kit. I love the words, the different styles... it's a fantastic word set with so many possibilities.
The background was water colored, before the words were stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine ink. The butterfly die is from Monarch Dies set. I also added some tiny flowers I had laying around on my desk, and a scallop border. The inside of the bookmark has magnets so it can clip onto the book page.
Thank you for stopping by,

Thoughts of You

Hello Sweet Friends!  Julie here to share a card created with the new Creative Worship stamp set, His Wings (designed by Korin Sutherland) along with Long Stem Silhouettes from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

I stamped the three feather images using Versamark™ Ink onto Vellum, heat embossed the images with white embossing powder and once the embossing powder cooled, I colored the feathers using water based markers- soft yellow and soft blue and fussy cut each of the feathers.

I inked the sentiment using soft gray ink onto a piece of white cardstock, trimmed and mounted the panel onto the white card base using dimensional foam.

Long Stem Silhouettes
I mounted the vellum feathers onto the card front using small narrow strips of dimensional foam behind the shafts of the feathers and added the rhinestones to finish off the card.

Hugs and have a blessed week, sweet friends!

be still

Good morning! I have two CAS cards to share with you today using some of the Sweet 'n Sassy Bible Journaling sets.

My first card today was created with this verse in mind... Psalm 46:10  He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
I kept it clean & simple, with a watercolored background.

I used the Sweet 'n Sassy set Just Be which was created for bible journaling but as you can see, these sets are great for cards too!

My second card uses the His Wings stamp set along with some accents from Note This (hearts) and Just Be (little circles).

I love the feathers in this set!  I only wanted them on half of the background, so I tore a post-it note mask and watercolored the right side. When dry, I stamped the feathers and birds.
Have a great weekend.  Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

Seek Him

Happy Monday Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal, here. I hope you had a wonderful Palm Sunday yesterday, can you believe that Easter is next Sunday?  I am so glad it is finally spring even though we had snow yesterday, I am so ready to use spring colors on my cards.
To make my card I used the Seek Him clear bible journaling set. For the background I just used some stencils with distress inks. Sweet 'n Sassy has added some amazing bible journaling sets to the store but, you do not have to be a bible journaler to use these sets. This set makes a great card to give a friend who is wresting with what to do in a circumstance. I do like the way this card turned out so I will probably  journal something similar around the Matthew 6 passage to seek His kingdom first and all else will be added.

This is the set I used but I shaded it a little to make it stand out again the background

Hope in the Lord

Hello, sweet friends!  Cathy here with a few samples to share with you using some of the new stamps sets that have just been added to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!   These three new stamp sets added to the Creative Worship line coordinate so well together and are all now available as a pre-order!

Words of Life: Collection 3 was designed by Korin Sutherland.

Just Be was designed by Rebecca Rios.

Choose Faith was designed by Korin Sutherland and Brenda Weaver.  This stamp set is part of our regular Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps line, but is perfect for Bible journaling as well.

This wonderful Bible page was created by Monika using the new Choose Faith stamp set.  Don't you just love the little vellum flowers cut with the Flower/Clover Dies she added to her page?

The thing I love the most about all of the new Bible Journaling sets is that they are also perfect for creating encouraging cards.  Here are some uplifting samples made by the SNSS Creative Crew using these new stamp sets:

In this fun sample, Susie was able to combine elements from Just Be and Words of Life: Collection 3 as well as Seek Him.

How gorgeous is this!?  Julie created this card using the new Choose Faith stamp set and Precious Poppies.

His Wings which was released at the end of February as part of the Creative Worship Line is currently available at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  The feathers were white embossed on a piece of mixed media paper.  Tombow markers were scribbled on a piece of acetate, sprayed with a little water and smooshed onto the card stock.  Each color was dried before adding the next color.  Some of the feathers were fussy cut, tied together, and added to the card.  The sentiment is from the new Choose Faith stamp set.  See how well all of these stamp sets work together!

Here is another card using His Wings, but this time very clean and simple.  Check out the amazing sentiment on this one.  It's a sneak peek from our fabulous new Creative Worship Kit being revealed next Friday!  You must check back next week to see this incredible kit…all I can say is you won't want to miss this one…you won't be disappointed!

His Wings was designed by Korin Sutherland and is now available for shipping!

Be sure to check out these new products and more at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store!
Until next time…happy stamping and Bible Journaling!
Have a wonderful day!

Your are Loved in Him

Hello Thursday Friends!

I am usually very nervous about water coloring because I am sort of a control freak.  So this tends to be the extent of it for me.  Even though it is primitive, it makes me happy.  Now on to the stamps: I love the sets I used because you can mix and match them.  These sets are really popular for Bible Jounaling, but for me as a card maker, they are wonderful and versatile stamps too.

Here is a list of the sets I used:
Creative Worship Just Be (coming soon)
Creative Worship Words of Life Collection 3 (coming soon)

Be sure to check out all the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
wonderful clear stamps.

Have a marvelous day and we'll be back tomorrow with another post.

He Is Risen.....

{jane bosi} INDEED, Sweet Friends!  I love this particular part of our story and was delighted when I first saw the release of the He Is Risen Bible Journaling Kit.  As I'm still baby-stepping in my Bible journaling, I decided to use the beautiful images and words to create a card.  Lots of versatility for this one!

I'm working my way up to inking in my Bible,, stay tuned!

Have a great day!  TTFN, Jane

Find Refuge Under His Wings

Hello Sweet Friends!  Julie here to share a card created with the brand new stamp set, His Wings (designed by Korin Sutherland for the Creative Worship line of Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps) along with Grunge Elements.

I love all of the images and words in this stamp set- I think it is perfect for Bible Art Journaling as well as card making.

I stamped the three feather images and the flying bird from His Wings using Versamark™ Ink onto white cardstock, heat embossed the images with black embossing powder and once the embossing powder cooled, I colored the large feather along with the peacock feather with water based markers- soft sky, turquoise, wasabi green, daffodil yellow.

I carefully fussy cut each feather image along with the bird and set the images aside while I prepped the background.

I positioned the words from the His Wings stamp set onto a clear block and stamped them using Archival Black ink onto white cardstock.

I stamped the Grunge Elements stamp with Turquoise dye based ink (stamping off before stamping onto the word panel), trimmed the panel and mounted onto black cardstock.

I embossed a scrap piece of white cardstock with an embossing folder and mounted this layer onto black cardstock.

To finish off the card, I mounted the word panel onto a piece of white cardstock, added the feathers with the silver cording, mounted the horizontal embossed white strip and added the bird image with dimensional foam.

The last finishing touch was a Rhinestone in the “eye” of the peacock feather.

His Wings
I am so glad that I can find “Refuge under His Wings” – I hope you can confidently say that you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you are finding “refuge under His Wings” as well.

Hugs and have a blessed week, sweet friends!

a decorative corner card

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a different style of A2 card.  I've been wanting to try the Decorative Corner Card and I thought the image of a girl with out-stretched arms from Sweet 'n Sassy's I am Loved set would be perfect to use on the front.

The little girl is adhered to the front corner with two 3/4" scored circles so that she pops off the card front.  I also popped up the little heart accents.  Joy was cut with an old Cuttlebug die set.

I left the back panels blank except for the sentiment and a few more hearts. There's plenty of room for a personal message.

The card folds flat for easy mailing and is a fun style to create!
Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

New Stamps Plus MANY on the Way!!

Hello friends! It's Friday again and that means more news from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

Korin here with you today. I hope you had a great week! Mine was super busy here in the shop. Lots of filling and shipping orders, creating, brainstorming, and prepping for our NEXT kit (which is so awesome, I can't wait to share)! We only have a few of our He is Risen Bible Journaling Kits left so if you haven't grabbed yours yet, you'll want to hurry before they are gone!

I also wanted to remind you of our wonderful His Wings stamp set that is in stock and shipping now.

So how about we get to those new stamps!!?? They are part of our Creative Worship line BUT they are great for any kind of stamping! Without further ado, I am super excited to share TWO new sets that have been added to the store this week. Our first set is a fun new alphabet called All of Me Alpha.

You'll love the bold but grungy feel to this all caps set. It's great for stamping, scrapbooking, Bible journaling and lots more!

Here's a page I did this week using All of Me Alpha.

The second set I am excited to share is the first of many---yes MANY to come---by the very talented Rebecca Rios. She has been on our Creative Team for a few months now but let me tell you this girl is quite the artiste! :D Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more sets of hers to come throughout the month. Anyway, this first set is called Seek Him and it is sooo fact, we already sold out of the first batch, but no worries, more are on the way so you can preorder it now!

The large open words make it so versatile and fun to color many ways or just leave as is.  Check out these samples...

Well, that's all for me today. Be sure to stop on by our website to check out those new sets AND scope out the many popular sets that have been out of stock (and some for quite some time) but are NOW available for preorder (expected mid-March)!!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend basking in the love of our Lord!
